90 Day Fiance Sarper & Shekinah Winning Over Fans?
Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven have been featured before on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way for two seasons. That was when she was traveling back and forth from America to Turkey. It also showed the evolution of the couple while fans were not thrilled with Sarper and his controlling behavior. He wanted Shekinah to maintain a certain weight and when he saw her in the gym with a lollipop, he promptly ripped it out of her mouth. That was very disturbing because it felt like she could not be her own person.
Now, things have changed and Sarper got his visa so he could come to America. He is nervous about leaving his family behind in Turkey whereas Shekinah is scared he won’t make a good impression on her daughter, Sofie. Sofie is at boarding school but she gets one week off every five weeks. Therefore, Shekinah wants Sofie to see her in a good and healthy romance. Sarper said he would just be himself and worst case scenario, he would head home. After seeing them now on a new track and how they have lasted for some time, are fans warming up to the couple or not?

Can They Improve Fans’ Opinions?
Can Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven improve how fans feel about them or is the 90 Day Fiance community set on disliking them? It may be because they have watched the duo for years and have grown tired of their story. However, some fans did feel they were better than some of the other Season 11 cast. They even liked Sarper more than before:
- They are 100% better than the throuple.
- I prefer this to jasmine and gino, im sick of them
- Sarper has grown on me and I actually like him. The first season was absolutely cringe…..but they have come a long way.
Unfortunately, many others were tired of them as they had enough. At the same time, it is not necessarily Sarper and Shekinah but the season as a whole that has been disappointing:
- Maybe last season was just too much good fortune. Everyone was so messy and entertaining, I’m so bored with all the couples this time around.
- This season so far has been extremely boring tbh
