“The Bold and the Beautiful” Leads 2024 Emmy Awards
(TBKTSG Online) – At the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony, held on June 19 at 8:00 PM (local time) at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas, the CBS series The Bold and the Beautiful led the night with four awards. Following closely behind were Ellen DeGeneres, Regis Philbin, and Kelly Ripa.

The four Emmys awarded to CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful included: Outstanding Drama Series (marking the third consecutive year the show received this award), Outstanding Supporting Actress (given to Heather Tom for her role), Outstanding Younger Actor (awarded to Scott Clifton), and Outstanding Director.
In other categories, Michael Park won Outstanding Lead Actor for his role in As the World Turns on CBS, while Laura Wright took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress for General Hospital on ABC. Jonathan Jackson won Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role in General Hospital, and Brittany Allen was named Outstanding Younger Actress for All My Children (which has since been canceled) on ABC.
Additionally, The Ellen DeGeneres Show was awarded Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show (its second consecutive win), while The Dr. Oz Show won Outstanding Informative Talk Show.
In the Outstanding Talk Show Host category, Dr. Mehmet Oz from The Dr. Oz Show and Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa from Live with Regis and Kelly shared the award.
Similarly, in the Outstanding Game Show category, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune both took home the trophy. Ben Bailey won Outstanding Game Show Host for Cash Cab on Discovery Channel, marking his second consecutive win in this category.
