Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, December 30, inch towards the new year with a new idea from Jada. Will Paulina go for it? Since Paulina seems to go for anything that will lead to her administration looking good—without Paulina having to do any work—we figure if this is one of those suggestions, it’s as good as done.

Trouble in Paradise

While Rafe (Galen Gering) was in a coma, Paulina (Jackée Harry) gave his job as police commissioner to Jada (Elia Cantu). Then, when Rafe woke up from his coma, Paulina decided she liked things how they were and told Rafe he’d be reporting to Jada from now on. Employment law? What employment law? Paulina Price is above the law! She’s repeatedly demonstrated that, so why should she pretend to follow it now?

Rafe quit and joined Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) private eye firm, which led to him arresting Hattie (Deidre Hall) before Jada could. This led to more conflict for the newly engaged couple. And, frankly, Jada has had enough of the back-and-forth, which is why she comes up with a solution that she needs Paulina to sign off on.

Young and Nosy

Holly (Ashley Puzemis) made it so Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) and Tate (Leo Howard) couldn’t get out of town to arrange for Sophia’s abortion. Holly didn’t know what she was doing…or did she?

Sophia doesn’t know whom or what to believe, and Tate is being no help. She can’t turn to her parents, so Sophia turns to the one friend she thinks she can trust—her boss, Ava (Tamara Braun). Ava is also dating Brady (Eric Martsolf), which means she might have insight into the Black men that Sophia lacks. Or she can be used to Sophia’s advantage. Either way, it’s a team-up we’re looking forward to!
