Stevi is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The couple planned to meet a few times, but they could not due to the ongoing protest in Iran. It was not safe to travel in Iran. So, they decided to meet in Turkey, the only place Mahdi could travel to. After only one week of being together physically, he proposed to her and expressed how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. He even gave her a ring.
The biggest issue between the two is their cultural differences. Stevi’s dad, Perry, is also against them. He is a devoted patriot and thinks that Iran is conservative.
