It’s a head-scratcher.

Put yourself in Hope’s shoes. Would you want to go back and work for a company that discarded you the way that Steffy did Hope For the Future — and over a scenario straight out of Three’s Company? Even if Hope and Carter showed Steffy to the elevator, Forrester Creations has proven that it doesn’t give two [bleeps] about Brooke’s daughter or her line.

And Carter… Dude’s been pushing his agenda hard and also outta nowhere. He should have anticipated that the powers that be wouldn’t immediately be on board — if they ever would be. But he’s super unhappy with the way that he’s being treated. So like Hope, why would he want to remain at that company? Even if he and Hope took over — which is highly unlikely with Brooke and Ridge in the know — wouldn’t it always remind them of their unpleasant past there?

If we were them, we’d found our own company and compete with Forrester Creations. If Hope and Carter don’t have the money to bankroll a startup, we know several people who do — and would be happy to break open their vaults. Bill… Nick…

Or hey, how’s this for an idea? Though Bold & Beautiful has forgotten that Sheila claimed to be loaded, we haven’t. Since Hope has given her tacit approval of Deacon’s marriage to the murderess, she could just hit up her new stepmother for a few mil. Involving Sheila in the fashion wars would certainly give her something more interesting to do than serve pizza.

Plus, if Carter and Hope struck out on their own, they wouldn’t have to deal with the years and years of lawsuits that Steffy, Ridge and Eric would entangle them in. They could just rebrand Hope For the Future as New Hope or something and start anew.
