The Young and the Restless alum Hunter King (ex-Summer) has been busy as of late with various holiday projects but she wasn’t too busy to take some time out to send a very special message — to a very special someone. The former soap alum-turned-Hallmark star recently posted five photos of her dear grandmother in honor of her birthday and the love exhibited in each of them is very clear.

“Happy Birthday to a national treasure and someone who I’m lucky enough to call my Grandma,” King shared then went on to state, “Everyone who knows you loves you (it’s true… this woman has more friends than anyone I’ve ever met).” She elaborated on the statement and continued, “The minute people meet you they fall in love and wish that they got to call you family. Somehow I lucked out and get to call you mine.” The actress closed out the super-sweet post by thanking her gram for “inspiring” her each day and for “sharing” her heart with so many. “I love you to infinity.”

Those who have followed King, know she’ll be starring opposite fan fave Tyler Hynes in a new Hallmark movie on Saturday, November 30, at 8:00 pm, titled Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Of her latest premiere, King’s grandma shared the movie poster and cheered, “So excited to see granddaughter Hunter King in this Hallmark movie!”

And she’s not the only one… We can’t wait to see the much-anticipated football-themed romance that follows Alana, who comes from a family of Kansas City Chiefs superfans. As she spends time with Derrick, who’s the Director of Fan Engagement in a team’s “Fan of the Year” contest, a spark ignites and a little Christmas magic might throw a Hail Mary her way.

During our interview back in June, King told Soaps.com, “[I’m] trying to think of how I can tease this. I haven’t filmed it yet, but I will be filming a very, very fun Christmas movie that will be coming out, I would assume this year. I cannot wait. It’s like a dream, a dream job. And it’s just going to be such a fun one for everyone to watch.”
