Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Christmas in Salem!
It’s a very special time for family in this week’s Days of Our Lives spoilers! (And since it’s streaming now, it doesn’t take the holidays off like the other soaps so you get a full five days of drama!) As families gather together to celebrate the season, there’s plenty of romance, drama, and heart to enjoy!
Julie may have said goodbye to her beloved Doug but she still has the rest of her family around her during the holidays, including her new grandson, Doug. “Tonight you are going to be part of this wonderful Horton family tradition,” she informs him. As longtime fans know, that is the annual hanging of the Horton ornaments where each family member in turn hangs the ornament bearing their name on the large tree in the living room.
Over at the Carvers, Eli and Lani have brought the twins to visit Abe and Paulina for Christmas. “Who wants to open presents?” Abe asks as the kids immediately raise their hands excitedly.
Some couples are getting a little romantic for the holiday, like Xander and Sarah, who hit the sheets before he presents her with a large gift box. “Let’s see what we can do about getting you onto Santa’s naughty list,” Xander teases. And Philip continues trying to rekindle things with Stephanie. “Maybe you’d be interested in going out with me?” he suggests. How will she respond?
“Surprise!” Tate cheers as Holly enters the Brady Pub to find it not only decorated for the holidays but her big day with a “Happy Birthday” sign hanging behind the bar. But that’s not the only surprise he’s got in store for his girlfriend. “I love you,” he confesses. Of course the real surprise is Sophia supposedly carrying Tate’s baby, which could throw quite the monkey wrench into Tate and Holly’s young love story!
At the Hortons’, there’s a Christmas miracle as Jack and Xander reach an understanding. “Merry Christmas, old friend,” Jack says, offering his hand as Jennifer and Maggie look on cautiously. “Merry Christmas,” Xander responds, moving in for a warm embrace. “It’s about coming home,” Julie informs Doug. “The place where we all begin.”
