If the character of Fanny Greyson on The Bold & The Beautiful looks familiar, there’s a good reason for that! French singer and actress Elsa Esnoult is returning to the soap in the Friday, Dec. 27 episode to reprise the role she originally played back in October 2023.

“The pleasure of returning to film in Los Angeles with my friends from B&B,” Esnoult shared on Instagram in her native French. “Thank you, [headwriter and executive producer] Bradley Bell, for allowing me to live the American Dream. And thank you to this wonderful team who are extremely kind to me every time.”

Fanny Greyson first appeared back on Oct. 27, 2023, when she arrived in Los Angeles to attend the fashion face-off between Ridge and Eric Forrester and see if there was a gown she might want to purchase. This time around, though, the singer is in town for business — she has a new perfume line to pitch! Given that Carter wants Forrester Creations to branch out, now that he’s in charge, perhaps a new perfume line is just the thing he’s looking for!

American viewers will only have seen Esnoult on those few episodes of B&B as all of her acting work has been in French films and television series. Her biggest role was playing Fanny in the French soap opera Love in Paris (originally titled The Mysteries of Love). She’s also a successful singer with multiple albums to her credit, including her recently released Christmas album Chante Noël.

Soaps In Depth is also hearing that Fanny will continue to appear in the New Year, but there are no specific air dates available yet. Still, that would seem to indicate that Carter might go for Fanny’s perfume line! Stay tuned to see what happens!
