TLC star and television personality Jana Duggar Wissmann is known for being part of a large family. However, recent post on social media has some fans thinking Jana could be starting a new family of her own. Notably, this follows Jana’s marriage to Stephen Wissmann back in August.
Jana Duggar Wissmann Recently Shared A Video Of Her & Her Husband Out & About On Social Media
Jana first came to prominence on the TLC series, 19 Kids and Counting, originally 17 Kids and Counting. She was also featured on the spin-off, Counting On.
Jana and her twin brother, John-David, served as the family’s first set of twins, also making Jana the Duggar’s oldest daughter. However, fans are starting to wonder about Jana starting a family of her own.
As noted by The U.S. Sun, Jana married her longtime friend Stephen Wissmann back in August. The couple live together in Nebraska.
This past Sunday, Jana shared a video on Instagram of their moments together back in March. This included going to Lowe’s, riding bikes, and working on home renovation projects.
In the caption, Jana shared, “March – 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle with tile. Evening bike rides, many trips to Lowe’s, and sweet memories spent together.”
However, some fans latched onto clues in the video that have them thinking Jana and her husband will soon be making a new addition to their family. Some fans commented on Jana’s appearance, noting that she appeared to be cradling her stomach.
As one fan wrote, “Yep puffy like she’s hitting the second trimester.” Another similarly wrote, “Jana are you pregnant?? I saw that [little] clip of you holding your stomach.”
As noted by People, Jana and Stephen originally connected with Jana years ago through their families. Speaking with the publication around the time of her wedding, Jana noted, “[The Wissmanns] would travel and sing. I remember them coming to our home, probably 13 or so years ago and they ended up getting snowed-in here, which hardly ever happens in Arkansas.”
Interestingly, Jana claimed she didn’t initially have too much of an impression of her future husband when first meeting his family. She shared, “I remember just playing games late into the night, doing puzzles together until the snow melted off, and they were able to travel back home. I don’t really remember Stephen that well because I’m older than him and so he was not at all on my radar.”
Fans Continued To Share Their Reasons To Think Jana Might Soon Share Some Good News
A few years back, they reunited, briefly dated, and broke things off. However, they still “talked to each other on and off over the years.” Meanwhile, Jana’s brother Jeremiah Duggar married Wissmann’s sister Hannah. However, in time, the two eventually reconnected. As Jana shared, “It was like, ‘What are we doing? We still enjoy each other. We still really appreciate each other.’”
“It takes me a bit to open up, but I think just his continuing to be there, no matter what, through ups and downs. He’s been a good friend over the years and has not pressured me in a lot of ways.”
Concerning Jana’s recent posts, quite a few fans have shared their reasons to believe Jana and Stephen might soon come out with some good news. However, a few others simply believe a new baby will come in time. Some comments included:
