Please join us in congratulating The Bold & The Beautiful’s Matthew Atkinson (Thomas) and his wife, Brytnee, on the birth of their first child! “Merry Christmas from The Atkinsons!” she shared with a family photo of them with the proud papa holding their son.
The couple announced that they were expecting in July, and the expected due date was in October. By the time of the baby shower, it was revealed they were going to be welcoming a baby boy, but the actor and his wife have been quiet on social media ever since his birth.
Atkinson made his daytime debut in March 2014 playing Austin Travers on The Young & The Restless and remained with the soap until August 2015 after his character was killed off. In March 2019, he debuted as the newest Thomas Forrester on B&B, and his most recent appearance on the soap was in the July 11 episode when Thomas returned to France with Douglas and Paris.
He and Brytnee Ratledge were married in Lake Tahoe on Nov. 8, 2023, and announced that they were expanding their family by one in July 2024. Obviously, they are keeping their private lives private and have not revealed any details of the birth or even their son’s name. In fact, in the photo she shared, the tot’s face is obscured with a Christmas tree emoji to protect him.
