Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth and her sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo are incredibly close. However, their living situation keeps the sisters from seeing each other as much as they would like. While the Forsyths reside in Arkansas with the majority of the extended Duggar family, the Vuolos have since moved to Los Angeles.
But will Joy-Anna and Austin consider moving their family out west? Some Duggar followers have suspected a move might be in the works.

Jinger & Joy-Anna Duggar Adore Their Extended Visits
Fans who keep up with the Duggars know that Jinger and Joy-Anna share a sweet sisterly bond. Their children are similar ages as well, meaning the cousins will likely grow up close, too.
For the past several weeks, Joy-Anna and her family have been visiting the Vuolos in Los Angeles. As the families enjoy their time together, some fans have begun speculating that the Forsyths might make the move permanent.
“Joy and Austin have spent the entire month of February in California. Wonder if they’re thinking about moving there??” a curious Duggar follower posted on Reddit recently.
While Joy-Anna and Jinger have certainly enjoyed one another’s company, it doesn’t seem like a permanent move is in the cards for the Forsyths.
Other Redditors chimed in an noted that the sisters already commented on the situation. It’s not at all uncommon for the Forsyths to stay with the Vuolos for long periods of time. They left comments including:
- “They said they’re not. I think they like to spend some time during the winter months out there every year. It’s doable when you homeschool your kids because you’re not missing any school when your mom is your teacher.”
- “Joy said that they have been staying in their own rentals, but they are there a lot while Austin has been working.”
- “According to Jinger on her Instagram stories, she said that Joy and Austin are not moving to California. I get the feeling they like to spend some time there during the winter months every year.”
- “Joy said in an IG story either yesterday or the day before that Austin is working out there.”
The Forsyths May Return To Los Angeles Soon
Even if Joy-Anna Duggar and her family aren’t permanently moving to Los Angeles, she might be back to visit shortly. Jinger and Jeremy are expecting their third child this month. They tend to keep specific details about their children private and censor their faces on social media. However, they’ll still probably make a public announcement when their third child arrives.
And with two young daughters at home, the Vuolos will probably welcome extra helping hands. If Joy-Anna does return to Arkansas, she will likely be back in Los Angeles before long.
